Just the Facts

Family owned since 1924 Frick Lumber Company has shown itself to be a major contributor to industry in Noble County, Indiana.

The self-made business began with Herman Frick, original founder and president from 1924 to 1951, succeeded by Harold H. Frick from 1951 to 2001. Stepping into those shoes, Ford Frick, Sr. is the current president, with Ford Frick, Jr. serving as vice president and Brenda Frick as secretary/treasurer.

After a fire destroyed the sawmill in 2004, a new 70 x 185 foot all steel building was constructed to house a new Circle Mill and Band Resaw.

Frick Lumber considers its 25 employees - some of them third-generation workers - to be the company's most important asset.

We pride ourselves in practicing good forest stewardship with company owned tree farms and the management of individually owned timber. Our timber cutters and woods crew are exceptionally adept at maximizing the yield from the timber, while protecting the young growth trees. We have our own trucks which haul the logs from the woods to the plant where our experienced sawyers manufacture fine hardwood lumber, which is then kiln dried and sold to furniture manufacturers and cabinet makers all over the United States.

Frick Lumber is located 30 miles Northwest of Fort Wayne, Indiana, six miles West of Kendallville, Indiana on U.S. 6. We have company owned trucks with professional drivers that can deliver your order promptly, if you are within a 300 miles radius. However, we can arrange trucking anywhere in the United States.

Frick Lumber Company's mission is to manufacture and market high quality forest products. We want all of our customers, whether large or small, to be totally satisfied with our product. We always give personal attention to fulfilling every customer's requirements. We produce a quality product, and integrity and honesty are incorporated into all aspects of our business.
